Union Chapel Road & the Stoney Creek Bridge

Watercolor on 1/4 Sheet Strathmore Imperial Buff.

I love to paint the ordinary beautiful places I go by regularly. While going to Noblesville to @nickelplatearts or for years the 4H Fair Grounds I would cross this bridge. One late summer day I finally stopped and took a few reference pics. This is the painting that resulted. The view is due West from the bridge itself, the blustery blue grey sky reflecting and intensified in t...he creek. This one is one of my personal favorites. The second slide shows it with a companion piece, "View from Potter's Covered Bridge".
$375.00 ea. or $600.00 for the pair.
