In the fall of 2018 I decided I wanted to try one of these PLEIN AIR (Plain Air) Competitions, Brown Co. Indiana had two back-2-back: Saturday at the TC Steele State Historic Site (Google it) and then Nashville Village through the Brown Co. Artists Guild. Saturday I won the watercolor division in a rain storm (let that sink in a minute); the prize was a GC to Richeson Art Materials (@richesonart).
This was the winning piece, awarded by Jean McLeash and Mark Burkett.
