Butterweed in Winter Wheat

Painted during the second day of the First Brush of Spring in New Harmony, IN. I've painted this spot every time I've been there. It is fun to see how it changes based on what the weather has been like. This year it had been warm, dry, and trees were fully leafed-out.

I painted this on an aluminum panel with Legion paper faced. it got 4 coats of spray varnish too boot!
