Tippy Treasures, 16"w x 12"t Watercolor on 300# Arches Paper.
What's an artist to do when the weekend at the lake gets canceled? You paint lake themed work. I started this piece more than a week ago and shared the reference photo with an Art-Buddy: "That's a lot of brown, are these special shells or something?" As matter of fact they are, gathered by my step-sister's granddaughters on Big Tippy. I took the photo more than a year ago when She graciously hosted me for Biennial Plein Air paintout at Lake Wawasee.
Accepted into the 98th Annual Hoosier Art Salon, 2022.
